Hey, I’m Jordy!

Designing with purpose, curiosity and empathy to turn ideas and stories into meaningful visual experiences.

My Approach

What Drives My Practice?

I approach design through connection, intention, and curiosity. Across my work, I’m drawn to ideas surrounding sustainability, human connection, materiality, and the stories behind people and places. I enjoy understanding the audience, context, and reason behind a project before developing a visual direction, allowing the concept to shape the outcome rather than designing purely for aesthetics.

I particularly enjoy working across brand identity, visual communication, editorial design, and UX/UI, combining strategic thinking with hands-on experimentation. I’m interested in how typography, imagery, colour, materials, and visual systems can communicate ideas and create a response in the audience. I also enjoy moving between digital and physical processes, from developing identities and interfaces to experimenting with textiles, print, and tactile materials.

As a junior graphic designer, I’m excited to continue learning through collaboration, experimentation, and exposure to different perspectives and disciplines. I want to create work that is relevant to its audience, grounded in its context, and reflects the people, stories, and ideas behind it.
